DEFINITION
OF OEM
Original equipment manufactured
(OEM) is defined as engines and other components originally produced by an
American manufacturer for passenger car or light truck use as produced on an
assembly line and unaltered or modified except as noted herein. Special racing equipment, marine or off road
vehicle components are not considered OEM.
Furthermore, OEM is interpreted to mean OEM for stock production engines
and manufacturer's forging and casting marks cannot be
altered.
The pit gate will be closed
before the last race to allow for less congestion for drivers and pit crews to
load their cars and leave safely. No
vehicles will be allowed to enter the pits after the races are over. Spectators will be allowed to walk across the
track to the pits.
We want to remind you that this
is a public facility and no alcoholic beverages are allowed other than the
grandstand. Law Enforcement Officials
have the right to patrol at any time.
Anyone not complying with the
above safety rules will not be allowed to race until the problem has been
corrected. Be advised that the medical
coverage for drivers and pit crew will not be on an excess basis. This means that injured parties will first be
required to file a claim on any coverage they have personally before the track
insurance will respond.
Remember, just because the rules
don't say you can't, doesn't necessarily say you can. If you cheat, don't complain when you get
caught.
All
rules will be enforced from week one as written. However, Boone County Raceway reserves the
right to add or delete any rule for the betterment of the sport in the interest
of our track procedures.
We will be using gauges,
durometers, etc. to check cars to make sure the rules are being
followed.
Our first concern is the safety
of all our fans, drivers, pit crews and staff.
We appreciate your cooperation in these matters so we can all be safe and
have a good time at our track.
Thank
you!
